FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Call us if you have any more questions. (203) 924-2900

  • Is financing available for plastic surgery?

Yes! While Dr. Reilly does not offer in-house financing to his patients, there are plastic surgery financing companies that will offer a monthly cost calculator, as well as an immediate decision on your ability to obtain a loan to cover part or all of the costs associated with your choice of procedure.Dr. Reilly uses CareCredit. Visit their website or contact them directly for more information about their loan process.

  • How much will the surgery cost?
Because each surgery is tailored to the patient’s individual goals, and needs, costs can vary from patient to patient. You will be provided with a quote from Dr. Reilly’s caring staff at the time of your visit. For those patients interested in financing their surgery, rest assured that there are many payment options available.
  • Am I too young/too old for plastic surgery?

While there is no specific “right age” for plastic surgery, there are some procedures that are more appropriate at various stages of life because certain features mature at different times. Otoplasty (ear tucks), for example, can often be performed on children as young as age 7, since the ears are typically stable by age 4, and facelifts can be performed on healthy patients well into their 70s.

More important than the actual age is the patient’s physical—and mental—maturity, as well as his or her overall health. Breast augmentation for a girl in her teens may not be appropriate as the girl’s body is still developing and the breasts may not be mature until age 20. In fact, written parental consent is required for any patient under the age of 18 who is seeking cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Reilly and his staff are very intimate with, and sensitive to, the physical and psychological factors behind the decision to undergo plastic surgery. Everyone’s body, and everyone’s case, is different. Don’t hesitate to schedule a consultation to learn how Dr. Reilly can help you look your best, feel your best, and be your best.
