Browplasty Procedures by a Trusted Connecticut-Based Plastic Surgeon
A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, can be performed in our Connecticut offices to reduce forehead wrinkles and raise droopy eyelids. Also known as browplasty, the procedure:
- Minimizes horizontal creases across the forehead
- Minimizes horizontal lines between the eyes, high on the bridge of the nose
- Improves vertical furrows between the eyebrows
- Lifts low or sagging brows for a happier facial expression
- Corrects for droopy or hooded eyelids that can interfere with eyesight
Most often a brow lift is a cosmetic procedure, but vision improvements may be considered as reconstructive. Overall a brow lift tightens and smooths the skin for a more youthful appearance.
Traditional and Endoscopic Approach
A traditional or classic brow lift involves an incision below the hairline, across the forehead. We lift the skin to smooth the wrinkles and reposition the eyebrows. Some people may be candidates for an endoscopic brow lift. An endoscope is a flexible, thin tube with a camera and light. After making several small incisions along the scalp, we insert an endoscope for an internal view of the forehead. Then using special instruments, we lift the skin, smooth the wrinkles and reposition the brows.

We respect and honor your privacy, and understand that you may not want to share your decision with family or friends. Maybe you are wrestling with what you should or shouldn't do to feel better, stronger, and more confident. We are here to help – weighing choices and possibilities with you. We are sensitive to your concerns. We are committed to helping you look your best, feel your best, and be your best.
Delighted patients. Dr. Reilly and our staff consistently receive high marks from patients who are pleased with their experience and results. With their permission, we are happy to share before and after photos with you.
Financing and Payment Plans
Because a brow lift is considered an elective procedure, health insurance does not cover the surgery. (There may be some exceptions, however, for a brow lift that corrects droopy eyelids to improve vision.) Also, the cost of the procedure can vary greatly from patient to patient, based on body type and desired results. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. We have also worked with CareCredit for many years to provide the best financing services available.
